The University of Nairobi, through the COEHM and CRISS plus Projects has received funding from the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention to support the implementation of high quality, sustainable and comprehensive HIV prevention, care and treatment in Nairobi and parts of central Kenya. To meet program goals, the Project seeks to fill the following positions;
Laboratory Assistants - (2 posts)
Location: Nairobi
Qualifications
Applicants should be in possession of a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory technology/science/biochemistry with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy clinical laboratory and be computer literate.
Those with a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology and 2 years’ experience in a busy clinical laboratory will also be considered.
Those with additional certification in GCLP and/or laboratory quality management systems/mycobacteriology/molecular diagnosis will have a distinct advantage.
All the positions are full-time and on a one year contract renewable on satisfactory performance and by mutual consent.
