Our client, a law firm in Nairobi is looking for a Legal secretary.

Qualifications & skills

1. A diploma in Legal/secretariat law
2. Minimum of three years of work experience as a legal secretary.
3. Good communication, customer service and relationship-building skills
4. Certificates qualifications in computer relevant packages
5. Should be fluent in English with good communication skills.
6. She should be good at document management.
7. Excellent public relations
8. Reception work experience
9. Team working skills
10. Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
11. Should be a critical thinker and problem solver.

Duties and responsibilities

• Answering calls, taking messages and handling correspondence
• Maintaining diaries and arranging appointments
• Typing, preparing, filing and collating reports
• Organizing and servicing meetings (producing agendas and taking minutes)
• Managing databases and prioritizing workloads
• Implementing new procedures and administrative systems
• Liaising with relevant organizations and clients
• Acting as a receptionist and/or meeting and greeting clients
