Fresh from Rausha Vipaji football bonanza, Telvin Chweya has secured advanced football training with Nastic Soccer Academy in Barcelona, Spain.
Chweya, who nurtures his talent at Nakuru City Academy under the tutelage of former St Joseph's FC striker Bethwell Kipkoech said he was elated to have secured the deal that starts in September.
"It's a dream come true and I'm ready to prove myself in Spain and possibly become another Michael Olunga," the soft-spoken year-9 pupil at Greensteds International School told The Standard Sports.
The 13-year-old said his goal is to become a professional footballer with a focus on serving his country in all international matches.
"Playing for Harambee Stars is my ultimate goal, but first, I must start from somewhere and that's why I'm heading to Europe," he said.
The Under13 Nakuru City Academy striker is in top shape and says he's ready to face more challenges to spur his football career in one of Europe's top football academies.
"It was a pleasure to have taken part in the Rausha Kipaji event, which exposed me to some greater and better opponents. Now, I'm even more ready to better my prospects further," he added.
Head coach, Bethwell Kipkoech said theirs is to ensure players undergo proper and advanced training in every aspect that should assure them of a great future that could land them in fancied clubs in Europe.
"Every player's ambition is to play in Europe and that's where we aim with our players. It's just a start of better things to come," he said.
Chweya's father, Orestus Chweya said he is ready to offer his son all the required support that should make him a future international.
"Telvin is a player set to go places and I'll give him all the necessary support so that he achieves the best," he said.
