I have now settled into life as Baby in the ‘ushago’.

Nairobi it looked like something that happened to me another time for so long ago!

I miss my sister Milan, and sometimes remember Heaven School (to go swimming), but I have even forgotten what snacks to taste and cartoon on TV for Cocoa Lemon look like.

In ushago after uji in the morning, I take wheelbarrow and go to the farm to help Ntagu with the ‘mirrors’ that he growed on his farm in Meru.

Lunchtime we come back and we eat some very bitter vegetables which Shosh she call ‘kunda na plant ins’, and she say will make sure me, three-year-old Baby Drago (and little cousin Laila) we will never be sick kid.

After that we go siesta for two hour, by force.

When we wake up, my Aunty Emma she wash me and Aunty Fayie she wash Laila in separate bucket of very warm water. We splash and giggle, as soap slide and so slippy on our skins.

‘Si mutulie!’ Aunt Fayie always say, but Aunty Emma she just laughed us.

After that, Laila and me we go to play.

With the puppies, or even with the kukus, which I have stop to ogopa!

At six, my Mom and my aunties they do ‘gym’ in the compound, and my big Auntie Philo she always use me as her ‘waist,’ lifting me as she count one, two, three up to ten.

‘Nineteen’ is still to continue. Press’dent Kenyanya has said on radio we continue quarter tea for another many more weeks.

My Daddy, who he is stayed stuck in Nairobi because of Lock Town he always ringed before I sleep. He telled me ‘very stories’ he read from a book, which it has dragon and bean stones.

At night, I dream that I am on farm with Ntagu when a dragon its coming from the skies.

I take my sword, the one I lefted in Nairobi for Jade Eye, and I fighted dragon with it, but Laila she is only screaming.

I waked to tell my Mommy about my dragon dream.

‘You have a wild imagination, Baby Drago,’ she say – then she sooth me back to sleep ‘kwa roho.’

But then a message it is coming on my mummy’s simu.

It is saying she is needed to back in the Nairobi.

You're going on vacation to Mars. What one food do you bring?
