In the interview, a teary Kanze talks about how death robbed her off of her 3-month old baby, Natasha. Kanze conceived Natasha in 1997 when she was working in a restaurant as a potato peeler. The man responsible for her pregnancy took off immediately he learned about it. The celebrated Kiswahili Anchor managed to hide the pregnancy news from her mother until she delivered. Her plan was to give up the baby for adoption immediately after birth but somehow there was confusion in the delivery room and her mother found out and convinced her to keep the baby.

Her mother took the baby back with her to Mombasa as Kanze enrolled for Journalism classes. Her daughter, however died in her sleep as she had not showed any signs of sickness. It was a hard time for Kanze as she quested God what she had done to deserve the pain. She soon after fell into depression but she finally overcame.

She admits that todate, she still doesn’t know what killed her daughter as she was okay and healthy.

If you were to travel through time, where would you go?
