Model Elsie Njeri only carries what she needs writes WAMBUI THIMBA

What bag are you carrying?

I’m carrying my very first Louis Vuitton bag. It’s over five years old and was a gift from a friend. It’s the only big bag that I still use.

How many bags do you have?

The last time I counted they were 14 but I’m downsizing to three or four of my favourite bags since I don’t use all of them.

Elsie Njeri

Where do you buy your bags from?

Most of my bags are from my sister abroad and the others are from La Toi boutique also known as Toi market.

Do you change bags often?

I don’t match my bags with my outfit so I don’t change bags often.

What’s your handbag style?

I like vintage bags. I also like satchels, my favorite one being a black satchel that’s compact and only fits what I need.

Do you have any designer bags?

I have a Louis Vuitton bag and a blue Chloe satchel.

What would you never leave the house without?

My phone.

What’s in your bag?

A Notebook, DSTV walka that keeps me entertained during those long hours in traffic, Wallet, Flomar lipstick, Nivea lipbalm, Blackberry phone and head phones. My bag doesn’t have a lot in it because I only carry what I need.
