A Kenyan NGO, Lenga Ugaidi, has offered prize money of Sh0.5 million through the second leg of their initiative dubbed Lenga Ugaidi na Talanta.

The competition will see poets, artistes and film makers engage in content creation meant to pull the youth away from being lured into terrorism.

All it takes is an original, creative, vibrant and eye-catching five-minute video about the fighting terrorism narrative and one could walk away with Sh500,000.

Besides money rewards, winners will also walk away with laptops and smartphones.

The deadline for submission is slated for 16 November this year.

All those who believe they have the creativity needed are called upon to participate.

Lenga Ugaidi seeks to offer the youth a platform to creatively express themselves and join in on the fight against terrorism.
