The picture of a heavily pregnant woman lying motionlessly on a couch elicited angry reactions from Kenyans.
Sandra Kaloki was reportedly a victim of police brutality who lobbed teargas into her house. She has however since delivered.
In the picture that was doing rounds on social media, Sandra is be seen lying comatose in a tastefully furnished, but disorderly living room.

The action by GSU officers was allegedly instigated by Eva Kaimenyi who is said to be the daughter of Lands Cabinet Secretary Prof Jacob Kaimenyi.
The incident took place on the eve of Labour Day at a time when Sandra and her friends were hosting a party in their house. Pascal Kaleli, the owner of the house was hosting his family at his home, and the noise emanating from the house is said to have irked neighbours, including Eva.
Their fun time was cut short when cops arrived at the house, jumped over the fence and lobbed teargas canisters inside the house. The house also had children, besides the expectant Sandra.

The commotion and teargas attracted neighbours who stepped outside, but were ordered to leave. One of the officers fired twice in the air to keep the crowd at bay.
Following the fracas, valuables including luxurious sofa sets, LED television screen and others items estimated to cost over Sh300,000 were allegedly damaged.
Kaleli and three others were arrested the same night and the matter booked under OB 57/04/2017 at Kayole Police Station.
Sandra however has every reason to smile now after giving birth to a baby boy.
Initially, it was feared that she would have complications after her due date passed by almost a week. This was after doctors said the teargas she inhaled during the attack might have interfered with her blood pressure.
Kaleli told The Nairobian that, “She has delivered a baby boy. Her delivery however was delayed by about one week, and it got us worried. We just hope she will be okay.”
