Fast-rising Kenyan songstress Nadia Mukami was met with a rousing reception at thesecond edition of the ‘Infinix beat ya Campo’.
Held at Kenyatta University’s Bishop Square near the amphitheatre, Mukami noted that event was one of the best that she has ever graced.
“It’s a great honour to be welcomed in this style, the fans were enthusiastic and sang choruses with us, it is one of the best shows that I have ever attended as an artist,” she said.
Nadia Mukami wowed her fans as she sang several of her hit songs; Radio Love, Yule Yule, Ikamate, Lola, Kesi, African Love, Si Rahisi at the event which kicked off at 3.
Gifted singer and songwriter Benson Mutua alias Bensoul, as well as Esther Kemunto, was among other artists entertaining the packed crowd in the event targeted at students from different campuses in a bid to engage and provide a platform for them to showcase their talents.
Winners were crowned at the close of the event.
Bensoul swept the red carpet clean as he sang his hit song Lucy. He had to sing the song more than thrice as the dotting crowd demanded for more.
He also sang other songs like Ntalalanawe, Extravangaza, Telenovela amongst others.
On her part, Kemunto, an upcoming artist, was not left behind either as she picked from where the two left and entertained left a mark with her delivery and stage presence.
