Data showed Kenyans were mainly interested in sports-related topics in the general category, with the English Premier League (EPL) ranking first and Sportpesa coming in second.

Locally, the most searched personalities mainly included politicians taking up the top six positions out of 10.

Media personality Betty Kyalo could not hide her surprise when she ranked seven. Taking to her Instagram, the social media sensation said,” I honestly appreciate the interest. Goodness, number 7. The truth is I have been through many highs and lows in life, having started my media career so young. I have gone through most of it in the public eye which is never easy. It is actually quite tough. It is like living your youth plus young adult life with everyone watching.”
