Singer Nadia Mukami is mourning one of her biggest fans after he was hit by a train.
Taking to her Instagram, the Radio Love hit-maker shared a photo she had posed with her fan, Kevin Dublin, who lost both his legs in the accident.
According to the singer, Keith showed his support by running some of her WhatsApp fan groups, attending her shows, and regularly visiting their offices.
“Keith Dublin is no more!! He was hit by a train and lost his legs! Keith was one of my biggest Fans! He attended my shows, run some other Nadia Mukami Fans Whatsapp Groups, constantly visited our office and was active during releases!” Nadia posted.
As a disclaimer, the African pop star told her fans she couldn’t post Keith images from the accidents citing the pictures were ‘cruel.’
“The images were cruel. I couldn’t post them!! May His soul rest in Peace!!” she added.
The award-winning singer and songwriter has continued to grow her fan base since her music career debut at 18 years, making her one of the most successful performing artists in Kenya.
Over the years, the 24-year-old singer has wowed her fans with her hit songs such as Radio Love, Yule Yule, Ikamate, Lola, Kesi, African Love and Si Rahisi, among others.
In 2020, the songstress emerged as Boomplay’s most-streamed female Kenyan artistes, according to the company’s music fact report.
Her album ‘African Pop Star’ was reported to have garnered 1.5 million streams only three months after being released.
Speaking during an interview, Nadia revealed she made her first million at 23 and highlighted her dreams of becoming an international singer.
“I have dreams of wanting to go further in life. I desire to get worldwide recognition - that I’m from and represent Kenya, an African popstar. I can say 2020 was the best year of my career. I made my first million when I was 23, which is last year! It was one of the best years of my life. It was a dream come true for me,” said Nadia.
