Demi Lovato revealed she identifies as pansexual after years of being ‘super closeted off.’
The 28-year-old also discussed her future, opening up about her desire to adopt children during a new interview on Joe Rogan's podcast - The Joe Rogan Experience.
“At this moment I want to adopt [children] for sure,” she told.
Speaking candidly, the former Disney child star added: “I also don't know if I'm going to end up with a guy, so I can't really see myself even getting pregnant.
“I don't know. I'm so fluid now, and a part of the reason why I am so fluid is because I was super closeted off.”
The host asked the Sorry Not Sorry singer whether she meant she identified as pansexual, saying: “What do they call that? ‘Pansexual’?”
“Yeah, pansexual,” she answered. “I like anything, really.”
Shortly after, the romance fizzled out and the two called off the engagement.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly recently, the star confessed that is ‘just too queer’ to settle down with a man at this moment in time.
“Regardless if drama is happening or not, I am too gay to marry a man right now.
"I don't know if that will change in 10 years and I don't know if that'll never change, but I love accepting myself."
She added: "I've always known I was hella queer, but I have fully embraced it."
Demi has been intimate with a woman before and said it ‘felt better’ than when she was with a man.
“I know who I am and what I am, but I'm just waiting until a specific timeline to come out to the world as what I am,” she told Glamour.
“I'm following my healers' timeline, and I'm using this time to really study and educate myself on my journey and what I'm preparing to do.
“I hooked up with a girl and was like, 'I like this a lot more.' It felt better. It felt right.'”
Demi has been opening about her life and discussed everything from her relationships to past drug addictions in her powerful new documentary Dancing With The Devil which was released on YouTube last week.
