Kanye West could be banned from rapping about Kim Kardashian as part of their £1.6billion (Sh213billion) divorce. Sources say the couple’s settlement is set to include a gagging clause to stop him spilling the beans – including in his hip hop hits.
An insider said: “One big negotiation they have to sort out is what they can and can’t say about each other.”
But another source hinted their drama WILL be played out for millions – on Kim’s reality hit Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which gets its final airing this year.
Kim let cameras follow her as she tried to save their relationship over the last nine months.
Kanye is not expected to feature in many scenes. The couple stunned fans around the globe when their split was revealed last month after almost seven years of marriage.
The source continued: “Everything in Kim’s life has been documented on camera and this is no different – except great lengths will be made toprotect Kanye. It will be a very emotional series, with the focus mainly on Kim’s journey.
“Their marriage has run its course, but their friendship and commitment to their kids has not.”
Kim, 40 – who filed papers on Friday at Los Angeles County Superior Court – wants joint custody of their four children.
The couple have a prenuptial agreement but have still to divide up their property empire. Kim is understood to want their mansion in Calabasas, California, while Kanye, 43, may base himself at their £10million ranch in Wyoming.
A source said: “So far they’ve both been amicable about their assets.”
According to business magazine Forbes, Kim is worth about £660million while Kanye has a £952million fortune – much of it from his Yeezy clothing collaboration with adidas.
Kim’s KKW Beauty line is also very lucrative. Sources say she has “grown up a lot” in the past year and wants to pursue a legal career.
The couple’s struggles became public last year as Kanye ran for US President, and Kim was said by one insider to be “trying to decide what to do to protect the kids [and] her sanity.”
