Cardi B said she was "scared" as her car crossed paths with a large crowd of Donald Trump supporters in Los Angeles. The 28-year-old WAP songstress was sat in the back of a lavish vehicle as she filmed her car surrounded by supporters wearing masks. In the footage, that Cardi B shared with her 77.3 million Instagram followers on Saturday, the rapper said she was "scared" and worried that she "would get jumped" by the Trump supporters.
The mum of one then took several videos as Trump supporters carrying flags and wearing marks walked around outside. "Look how many f******, I'm scared now, we're going to get jumped. I really feel like we're going to get jumped," Cardi B said in her first video.
In the second Instagram story, Cardi B records as her car drives past several large trucks decorated in US flags. "Trump supporters are everywhere. I'm scared. I don't like it with their big a** trucks. I don't like this s***," she continues.
The third clip features two people who have completely concealed their faces as they walk past the car wearing MAGA hats and proudly displaying a plastic mask that depicted Donald Trump. Cardi B added: "Look at this. Look how he walking around with fake guns and covering their f****** face. I don't like this s***."
The Bodak Yellow star's latest social media videos came at husband Offset, who was also in a vehicle driving through the march, livestreamed a conversation with police officers before they order him to step out of the car.
Bystanders who witnessed the event then reported seeing Offset standing in handcuffs. The Beverly Hills police department has since confirmed in a statement that the rapper was not arrested, with reports saying he was detained but subsequently released. Police said they arrested a separate man suspected of possession of a concealed loaded weapon. Representative for the couple have been contacted for comment.
