Outspoken Embakasi East legislator Babu Owino has opened up about how occurrences of earlier this year drew him closer to God.
"Everything in 2020 came about so fast, but such life occurrences help us to internalise and self-reflect. I'm now a new me and my focus is now on my family, constituents and God the giver of second chances," he disclosed.
The now avid teetotaller says his turnaround has made him be in touch with his spiritual-self and appreciate the people around him.
"I now spend more time with my wife, family, constituents and that’s drawing me closer to God. I’m a brand new me,” he insisted. The vocal legislator has avoided trouble, has been offering online classes and vows to heftily gift anyone who "spots me breaking any law".
