The Friends cast has confirmed that a reunion is happening, 16 years after the final episode aired.
David Schwimmer (Ross Geller), Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green), Courteney Cox (Monica Geller), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay) and Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing) have all shared the same post to their Instagram accounts to confirm the news.
Matt LeBlanc, who played Joey Tribbiani, is the only one of the original six not to post the picture, though he has been tagged in the post suggesting that he is taking part.
They each tweeted the same throwback picture of them all from the 90s, posing in an old car while David clung to the side.
"It's happening," they all captioned the post before tagging the rest of the cast.
Sadly, it will not be a new episode but rather an unscripted reunion special that will stream on US streaming service HBO Max from May.
It's not clear which UK channel will air the special, though it originally aired on Channel 4.
Rumours of a reunion have been rife since the last episode aired in May 2004.
It ended with Ross and Rachel finally getting together and Monica and Chandler welcoming twins.
Though the characters won't be returning, the cast may shed some light on what they think they are up to now.
The show's executive producers Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman and David Crane will all return.
Levin Reilly, chief content officer at HBO Max said: "Guess you could call this the one where they all got back together — we are reuniting with David, Jennifer, Courteney, Matt, Lisa, and Matthew for an HBO Max special that will be programmed alongside the entire Friends library."
"I became aware of Friends when it was in the very early stages of development and then had the opportunity to work on the series many years later and have delighted in seeing it catch on with viewers generation after generation.
"It taps into an era when friends – and audiences – gathered together in real time and we think this reunion special will capture that spirit, uniting original and new fans."
The cast has been asked about the possibility of a reunion for years.
Matthew Perry sparked rumours last week when he said there was "big news" coming.
