Maisie Williams has revealed that Game of Thrones producers had planned to 'brutally mutilate' Jon Snow.
The 22-year-old who played Arya Stark in the popular HBO drama, has spoken out about plans in a script in which Kit Harington's character would be disfigured in battle.
All is not what it seems though, as it turned out that show bosses had decided to prank Kit after he was hailed as a heartthrob by fans of GOT.
The King of the North often left viewers swooning as his brooding good looks made him one of the poster boys of the show.
Sophie Turner, who played Sansa Stark, had said that she used to mock Kit over the amount of time he took in makeup, ensuring every hair was in the right place.
Maisie has now revealed that producers thought they would prank Kit with a brutal script in which his vanity would go out of the window and leave him needing to wear a prosthetic face.
Speaking on internet show First We Feast Hot Ones, Maisie said that writers looked to wind up certain members of the cast with the fake plot.
Kit was convinced though and Maisie said: "They said he got really aggressively mauled on the face and he was going to have a huge disfigurement on his beautiful, chiseled jaw.
"That one was quite funny, poor guy."
Alfie Allen, who played Theon Greyjoy, was also sucked into the fake script and believed the shock turn of events being proposed.
Maisie continued: "They told Alfie Allen that he was killed by Bran in a really anticlimactic way."
Alfie rumbled the ruse though after speaking to Isaac Hempstead Wright, who plays Bran Stark, complaining about how his ending was working out.
