Popular comedian Obinna has called out hackers who tried to gain unauthorized access to his Instagram account. Taking to social media, the radio presenter posted a screenshot of an alleged message from the hackers posing as Instagram.

“Hi Ogaobinna, your account will be permanently delated from our servers within 24 hours unless you provide feedback. If you think we will accidentally your account, click the link and fill in the next required field,” part of the screenshot read.

Obinna was quick to point out that it never seemed legit to him that Instagram was contacting him via WhatsApp.

“Sounds like bullcrap to me. Hackers Alert! Instagram Support contacting me through WhatsApp lol,” he captioned the screenshots.

Lately, local celebrities have fallen victims of such malicious acts, thanks to their ever-increasing social media following.

The hacker went ahead to share photos of Hamisa Mobetto and her daughter and those of her estranged baby daddy, Diamond Platnumz. They also uploaded pornographic images, which were later on deleted.

Ladasha wambo, the daughter to DJ Mo and size 8, has also been a victim of hacking. Ladasha’s Instagram account was hacked at 300k followers but it was later recovered.
