He was one of the stars of local TV series Machachari. Malik Lemuel aka Govi has since made a name for himself in the entertainment scene, having featured in some of the top local productions.
At 22, he is now in campus pursuing International Relations. Time indeed flies and recently during a Q and A session with his followers on Instagram, Lemmy shared some of his preferences as far as love matters are concerned.
One netizen asked him whether he would date an older lady and he answered in the affirmative.
"Uhh yeah! Mi bora nimekutambua na umenitambua...Kwanza in my life I've been used to older since back then,” he wrote.
Lemmy, however, made it clear that he is not dating at the moment and advised younger men to focus on building themselves first before jumping into relationships.
He also admitted that juggling between school and acting is not easy but he is trying to find balance.
“It is really hard. I’d say school takes a lot of my time to be honest but we push regardless.”
On ‘Machachari kids making it’ Lemmy was quick to point out that it was a combination of luck and talent saying there are different paths to success.
A week ago, another ex-Machachari actor Tyler Mbaya aka Baha and his girlfriend Georgina Njenga announced that they are expecting their first child together.
Speaking on their YouTube channel, the couple, who had been off socials for a while, said they had been going through a trying period and had to make several decisions regarding their relationship.
The couple also said they are open to getting advice from more experienced couples and parents on how best they should go about their first pregnancy.
“Never been this excited to meet someone in my life,” wrote Mbaya.
Georgina, on her part, wrote, “When I first found out about you,I was happy and scared at the same time but one thing I knew for real I needed you. The last few months have not been easy but your little kicks make everything worth it. We love you so much and can’t wait to meet you.
