Actress Catherine Kamau famed for her role as Sue in popular comedy show Sue na Jonnie has revealed that it has come to an end.
Breaking the news on social media, Kamau revealed that the initial plan was for the show to last two years but had exceeded its expectations living through to its third year.
“When we sat down with Abel Mutua and started the show Sue na Jonnie we had given it 2 years you guys gave us 3 great years,” she wrote.
Despite the show ending, the actress assured her fans that she was working on ‘something bigger’ and thanked them for their support.
“We honestly couldn’t stretch the story further, but worry not something bigger is coming 2019, I have had a great #2018, and I owe most of it to you,” she posted.
“Your support makes me want to do better, I have also had the most challenging year as a parent raising a teen, I just want to thank my love @phil_director and my close friends who have been a shoulder to lean on for advice and encouragement,” she added.
The show premiered in January 2017 and ran on Maisha Magic.
The actress is married to former Tahidi High actor Philip Karanja who co-own a production company, Phil-it with Abel Mutua and Bob Muriithi.
