Many captured the imagination of the nation as they bid their single lives goodbye while solemnizing their unions in some of the most stylish and luxurious “I do” events of 2018.

 Here are a few;

  1. Dennis Okari

The NTV investigative journalist tied the knot in a red and white themed traditional wedding on October 27, 2018.

The traditional wedding held in Ukambani was arguably one of the most secretive weddings of this year with no pictures or videos leaking.

Details that Okari had quit the bachelors club only came to the fore after the Nairobian' dug deep.

This follows a highly publicized split from K24 anchor Betty Kyallo in 2015 after only six months of marriage

  1. Polycarp Otieno

The Sauti Sol guitarist better known as Fancy Fingers held two ceremonies as he celebrated his union to longtime girlfriend Lady Mandy.

First off was Fancy Fingers’ traditional wedding that took place in Bujumbura, Burundi, attended by close family and friends.

The elegant Bujumbura ceremony was an opportunity for Lady Mandy’s family to give their blessings to the producer and composer to marry their daughter after more than 5 years of dating.

The second was the exclusive invite-only wedding at the Fairmont Mt Kenya Safari Club, Nanyuki.

  1. Ben Kitili

Senior KTN political news anchor Ben Kitili chose to wed his bride at the AG's office on Friday the 16th of November.

Kitili married his longtime girlfriend, Amina Mude, in a cross-religious union after proposing to the mother of his beautiful daughter in 2015.

He later hosted colleagues, families and friends to a lavish wedding dinner at the Panari Hotel, Nairobi.

  1. NaisulaLesuuda

Samburu West MP Naisula Lesuuda walked down the aisle on November 17 at a lavish wedding ceremony held at ACK St. Phillips, Lesirai, Samburu County.

Lesuuda said “I do” to longtime lover Robert Kiplagat at the blissful ceremony a year after he went down on one knee and proposed to the politician cum activist on December 31, 2017.

Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe and Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria were among guests who graced the event.

The two lovebirds held a traditional wedding in August 2018 at Lesuuda’s home in Samburu.

  1. Risper Faith

Nairobi Diaries star Risper Faith exchanged vows with her fiancé Brian Muiruri on February 3rd in a beautiful invite only wedding at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Nairobi.

The curvaceous entrepreneur was swept off her feet in the traditional wedding by her man who reportedly paid a cool Sh2 million as bride price.

  1. Madtraxx

The Kansol member wedded his long-time girlfriend Salma in a star-studded, tan and peach themed event on Friday, December 7.

The rapper got married to Salma in the invite-only wedding event that saw showbiz heavyweights such as DJ Stylez and Mejja line up as best man and groomsman respectively.

They have two children.
