Singing star Nandy has made public her intentions to go international.
In an exclusive interview with Monday Blues, the Ninogeshe hitmaker, who is arguably the biggest female star in East Africa at the moment said she had set up a strategy to enlarge her fan-base beyond the region.
Nandy, who has been in Tanzania on a mini-tour to promote her current hit songs, a project whose climax was a show held at Golden Ice last night, said Kenya was one of her best options to launch her projects.
She said she planned to start a major tour here in two months, an event that will now be powered by Pulse magazine.
“I don’t want to be seen like I am in a competition with anyone. I know Diamond and Vanessa did their launches here, and I am not here trying to copy what they did. I have a management team that just knows what is right for me to do,” she told Monday Blues.
“I am happy that my star is shining. I am so humbled by the way Kenyans and African fans, in general, have embraced my music.
“My plan is to give my fans the best entertainment there can be. I dream of big things. I even dream of sharing the stage with Beyonce soon,” noted the gorgeous star, who is popularly referred to as the African Princess.
