Budi, Finali are latest Mr and Miss World Kenya
Robert Budi and Finali Galaiya walked home with their heads high after they were announced winners in the annual Mr and Miss World Kenya gala held at The Mall, Westlands on Saturday evening.
“I honestly did not see this coming, my legs were shaking the whole time. I am happy to be the newly crowned queen and hope that my Beauty with a Purpose Project, which is widow cleansing, will receive the support it deserves,” said the newly crowned beauty queen, who is also the Miss India Kenya 2016. Her widow cleansing project seeks to eradicate the practice of widow inheritance among Kenyan communities.
