After suspending CEO Maurice Okoth last week, the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) board members seem to be reading from different scripts.
Later today, its Nairobi branch officials will make an announcement concerning the suspension.
Okoth was suspended with immediate effect to pave way for investigations into the organisation’s finances, a matter that attracted criticism from leading artistes, among them Nameless, who said the CEO was being sacrificed.
He was suspended alongside Management Accountant Lilian Thuo and Regional Manager Peter Inyenze.
According to Chairman Bernard Mukaisi, the three were sent on suspension to pave way for investigations so as to allow the reopening of the organisation’s frozen accounts.
MondayBlues has learnt that the Nairobi MCSK branch officials will make an announcement that might affect the issue.
