Nakuru is the town to watch come tomorrow – New Year’s Eve – and Wednesday, as two major concerts have been planned to take place in the town.
One of them is a mega gospel concert dubbed Pamoja Concert. It will be taking place at the Nakuru ASK showground tomorrow.
The family concert will feature the biggest names in the gospel industry, among them Emmy Kosgei, who is also the brains behind the show, Rose Muhando, Guardian Angel, Moji Short Baba, Makena, Vicky Kitonga, Mum Cherop, Hype Dago, Ann Maina, deejays Mzito and Worship and emcees Kelly and Blaze among others.
The annual show, which has been sponsored by Standard Group PLC, seeks to unite people from all walks of life through music and other interactive activities.
The other event, dubbed the Nakuru Homecoming, takes place tomorrow evening - till New Year - and will be featuring celebrated secular and gospel artistes.
They include Avril, Khaligraph Jones, Willy Pozze, Timmy TDat, Sailors, Evelyn Wanjiru, Timeless Noel, Mr Seed and Nakuru All Stars. The emceeing will be done by MC Shitti, Otoyo and Amos. The show will be held at the Rift Valley Sports Club and it has been powered by Pace Africa.
