A run-in with ODM supporters during the just concluded Kibra by-election seems to have fired up Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa.
Yesterday, the legislator took to Twitter accusing Wajir Women Representative Fatuma Gedi of bedding her drivers and body guards.
In a move viewed by some as being ‘dishonorable,’ Barasa dragged the Women Rep’s children into their squabble, sharing a Kadhi’s court order instructing Gedi to hand over the custody of her three children to her estranged husband over the April holidays.
While claiming that Gedi had forgotten the document in Kibra, Barasa urged the Kenya Women Parliamentary Association (KEWOPA) to assist Gedi get another husband. He went further ahead to accuse her of bedding ‘small boys.’
“@Hon_FatumaGedi you forgot your below document in Kibra. @RehemaJaldesa @Cate_Waruguru @WanguiNgirici. Please rally @KEWOPA to combine forces with @InuaMamaKE to assist @Hon_FatumaGedi get another husband. So as to stop chewing small boys including her drivers and bodyguards,” wrote Barasa.
Gedi did not take the attack lying down, she counter-accused Barasa of being a conman.
“Am use to fake stories it will not change anything conman,” she captioned a presumed newspaper notice by Sportpesa warning the public against conducting business with Barasa.
The exchange elicited reactions from twitter users:

I think this is uncouth of you. Those are children you are exposing their names. You could have at least blanked them. But wait, do you even know how to pause and think? Shame. @EtalePhilip please teach him some few journalistic skills — Odhiambo Issa (@Odhiambo_Issa) November 15, 2019
