Kenyan singer Otile Brown caused quite a stir on social media after writing his ex, Vera Sidika a birthday message.
Not only did Otile have a message for Vera on her birthday, but also went ahead to post a photo of her in a red dress on his timeline.
“Happiest birthday mbaya wangu. More life, more blessings,” he wrote, joining other celebrities such as Tanasha Donna and Nick Mutuma in wishing Vera a happy birthday.
This comes as a surprise to many given their dramatic breakup. The socialite accused Otile of asking for money from her while also mocking his bedroom skills.
Done with Nabayet?
The move sparked varied reactions from Kenyans since the singer’s relationship with his Ethiopian girlfriend is rumoured to be on the rocks after he released ‘Nabayet,’ a song in which he asks for her forgiveness.
Afterwards, Nabayet turned down the apology saying “love is not a game, heartbreak is not a joke. It's going to take a little more than a song to heal and rekindle. My heart will always be at for him but, unfortunately, life has brought us here.
"OB I am forever grateful for you. I will always be praying for your success and wishing you all the best in life."
Coincidentally, Nabayet is also celebrating her birthday this week.
