Kiss 100 radio presenter Andrew Kibe has offered a nugget of wisdom to Tanzanian Bongo Flava artist Diamond Platnumz on family planning.
Speaking during his debut at the station following his exit with Kamene Goro from NRG, Kibe directed Diamond to get a vasectomy.
According to Kibe, vasectomy – a surgical procedure where male vas deferens are cut and tied or sealed - is all the Kwangwaru hitmaker needs to be abreast with, for now.
“Bro, one word for you, vasectomy,” said Kibe.
Kibe’s remarks come just days when the Tanzanian Bongo star is about to welcome a baby boy with Kenya’s Tanasha Donna.
And with it taking his tally to four courtesy of three others with women across East Africa.
In Uganda, he has two kids with socialite Zari Hassan while in his native Tanzania where he boasts a son with actress Hamisa Mobetto.
About a month ago, Diamond opened up that in his youth he experimented a lot.
Speaking at Musoma Utalii College in Tabora where he and his WCB team had gone to sensitize the youth on HIV and the importance of safe sex, Diamond stressed on why condom use is important.
“Mimi niliparamia mambo, Mungu akaninusuru sana, niliparamia kweli kweli. Lakini nikapenya kwenye tundu la sindano na sitaki kurudi kule nilitoka kabisa. Nawaelimisha nyinyi na najielimisha na nafsi yangu. Kama nimeamua kutulia na Tanasha na basi ikawa hivyo," he said.
He further pleaded with his fans to adopt the use of condoms as the first guard against HIV/AIDS.
“This is the right time for me to retrospect and give advice to my peers and those who love my music. If we were to practice safe sex, we would make strides in reducing infections and the spread of the disease.” He said.
