Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz and Grammy award-winning group Morgan Heritage were at the Dagoretti Feed The Children center for a charity event before their Wasafi Festival show at Uhuru Gardens on the 31st of December.
They made the surprise visit that was organized by The Great Republik accompanied by a bevy of renowned Wasafi label celebrities; Rayvanny, Harmonize, Queen Darleen, Lava lava and Mbosso.
In tow to put a smile on the needy children was Agnes Kagure, a renowned philanthropist who is also the patron of Students body, K.U.S.O. and Albinism Society of Kenya, who talked about the importance of character development and focus in life.
Accompanied by his Kenyan fiancé Tanasha Donna Oketch, Diamond encouraged the children to pursue their dreams and reach the top.
He also disclosed that he was exploring prospects of opening a branch of his record label in Nairobi to work with the growing number of local talent in the country.
On their part, Morgan Heritage disclosed that they hold Kenya in high regard as their second home and appreciate the Kenyan fan factor in their rise to regional stardom.
Kagure made her name in the Insurance industry. Her foundation in Mathare engages with local women groups and offers support for sports development in youth through her Rugby and Soccer tournaments.
