South African recording artist and producer Refiloe Maele Phoolo, commonly known as Cassper Nyovest has confirmed that he will be coming to Kenya.
Through his official twitter handle he announced he will be hitting Nairobi on May 26th.
‘’Speaking of African countries, Kenya!!!! I’m coming down next month!!!! Can’t wait to see y’all!!!’’ He tweeted to the excitement of Kenyans.
The ‘Tito Mboweni’ hitmaker will be at the Ngong Race Course all courtesy of the TGR (The Great Republic) festival and HYPE entertainment.
With a huge fan base locally and internationally, the 28-year-old is considered one of Africa’s richest and highest paid rappers, famed for bangers such as ‘Gusheshe,’ ‘Baby Girl,’ ‘Doc hebeleza’ and ‘Phumakim.’
The controversial artist made history for being one of the few African rappers to fill up a stadium. He made South African history with a sold-out show at the 75,000-capacity FNB Stadium in December last year.
Casper has three platinum albums namely Tsholofelo (2014), Refiloe (2015) and Thuto (2017).
His announcement follows similar declarations by other artists such as American rapper and producer P Diddy, Jamaican reggae and dancehall singer Kranium and Maybach mogul Rick Ross.
