Comedian Eric Omondi is known for never shying off from pulling breath taking stunts. In his latest gimmick, he used his branding partnership deal to send a warm welcome note to his girlfriend who was returning from abroad.
Well, most men will now have to start thinking outside the box to come up with better ways of going romantic and making their better halves feel special after Eric Omondi went a notch higher and erected a billboard with a special message for her girlfriend.
The comedian also posted a video of the grand homecoming he accorded his fiancée Chantal Grazioli at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) where he also pushed her on a luggage trolley as she checked out of the airport.
The endorsement business is speedily scaling up in Kenya with a number of local celebrities being hired by companies to promote company products.
Just like Eric Omondi, a number of celebrities have also used their personalities to market brands.
Catherine Kamau, widely known as Celina from her role in local TV Series Mother In-law, has become synonymous with her role as a brand ambassador for toiletry product, Herpic.
Other celebrities in the list include Wahu who endorsed Rexona, Comedian and radio host Jalang’o as brand ambassador for tissue brand Hanan, comedian DJ Shiti for Startimes, McDonald Mariga and betting firm Betin, as well as the celebrity family of Size 8, her daughter and hubby DJ Mo.
DJ Mo is the brand ambassador for Broadways bread and his wife and daughter Ladasha Belle the brand ambassadors for Softcare diaper company.
