Documentary & Reality Television Ltd Founder Eugene Mbugua is working on something new with soon-to-be parents Vera Sidika and Brown Mauzo.
Announcing the news on her Instagram, Vera posted a photo alongside Mauzo and Mbugua, saying she was excited about the meeting and captioned, ‘It’s going to be a beautiful Journey.’
The post captured the attention of many of her fans, with most of them guessing that a reality show was on the way.
When Standard Entertainment got in touch with the popular producer, he stated he was excited about the partnership as the couple prepared for parenthood.
“Vera Sidika and Brown Mauzo are about to embark on the journey of parenting, and we have begun conversations to see what content we can partner on with them. We are very excited about the potential partnership,” said Mbugua.
Adding: “We at D&R are always keen to work with different personalities. In the last two years, we’ve been able to put two great celebrity reality shows; Sol Family with Sauti Sol and Sol Generation and This Love with Wahu and Nameless.”
Eugene Mbugua achieved his first milestone in 2013 at the age of 22 when he became the youngest producer in Kenya to have a running show on national television. This is after his first TV show – Young Rich, went on air a day after graduating from USIU, where he majored in Television Production and minored in Print Media.
In 2014, he was listed in the Top 40 Under 40 Business Daily series and even won the ‘Best Editor’ award at the Kalasha Awards. In 2016 and 2017, he was ranked in the prestigious Forbes list as one of the ‘Most Promising Entrepreneurs Under 30.’
