Martha Karua is definitely enjoying life despite losing the hotly contested presidential election just a month ago.
She turned 65 on Thursday, September 22, 2022, and Kenyans took to social media to wish her a happy birthday.
“On your birthday this year, I wanted to write to you and thank you for everything you have done for our country. Your work is truly mesmerizing and you are an exemplary leader for future generations who wish to follow the world of politics. Happy birthday,” posted Hon. Sabina Chege.
Hours later, photos and videos flooded timelines showing how the event went down. She celebrated her big day in style surrounded by her grandkids, family and close friends as they danced the night away.
Political activist Boniface Mwangi shared some photos of the event that was graced by notable personalities including Raila Odinga, Ida Odinga, Makau Mutua, Esther Passaris and Gitobu Imanyara among others.
The NARC Kenya politician seems to have taken a chill back plan in recent weeks as she has been posted enjoying golf and even chilling at the coast.
“On this birthday I was once again reminded of the warmth of family, the joy of true friendship, and the blessing of life. A thank you from the bottom of my heart to all those who made the evening a lovely one,” tweeted Martha Karua.
