Finally, Twenty Four, Trina’s much-awaited single is out. And yes, it is a hot number that is worth the hype.

The gorgeous and talented newbie singer and songwriter, together with Sosuun, seems to be the new life at Taurus Musik with the back-to-back releases that have seen them head to Uganda this week on their first media tour.

Twenty Four comes just a few months after the songstress dropped a big reggae tune, Tonight. This time round she has gone all romantic and sensational, a song with an expression of love and affection between two individuals.

It was produced by Kagwe Mungai, who also works with Taurus Musik.

Trina, who is popularly known as Meremeka, debuted her singing career at the age of 10 years, featuring in church choir performances and consequently getting onto bigger stages and singing in countless concerts and set productions by the age of 16.

This led her to be featured as a backup vocalist for renowned artistes like Sauti Sol, Kanji Mbugua, June Gachui, Atemi, Eric Wanaina and Neema Ntalel among other home-grown established artistes.

She started singing professionally in 2015, went on a 10-month tour with Safaricom Live Tour in 2013 to sing for the top recording artistes from Kenya including P-Unit, Octopizzo, Kidum and many others.

She has performed with both national and International artistes on Coke Studio African season 2 through to 5 where she worked with various artistes such as Vivian Green, Yemi Alade, Maphoriso, Nasty C, Ne-Yo and Jason Derulo.

Her display of talent on Coke Studio was her stepping stone to flying our Kenyan flag outside of our continent when she went on a tour of Europe extensively for a three-month tour.

In 2010 Trina was one of the Kenyan artistes chosen to participate in the second season of the Coke Studio Africa Show and went on to feature on the latest series of the show, where she worked with American pop star Jason Derulo.

“The video is set to be released mid next month and has been predicted to be one of the most sensual videos of the holidays,” says Ike, the brains behind Taurus Musik.

“We promised to produce good content for the industry and what you are seeing is just a start of a new season, musically speaking. Sosuun and Trina are setting the pace and I can telling you they have huge talent,” he added.
