DJ Mo has declared his stand on the LGBTQ debate. Through a post on social media, the gospel spinmaster called on Kenyans to stop sugarcoating the matter, reiterating that he does not support it.

He went ahead to quote a Bible verse Leviticus 20:13, which talks about sexual relations between two men.

DJ Mo further said he knows what is best for his children and will not change his stand.

"Maoni yangu haya- let's stop sugarcoating this thing - haiwezi...I have kids...najua Society/environment safe kwao to grow in and I know what the Bible says. Leviticus 20:13

"Mawe zicome.. I will build with them coz that's my stand," he wrote.

Gospel singer Daddy Owen shared his sentiments on the same saying allowing the community to invade schools would 'corrupt' learning institutions.

He said he would not relent in his quest to ensure gayism is not normalized.

"The easiest way for them to penetrate our society is through SCHOOLS, they know our children spend most of their time in schools, and when they are home they know our TVs and social media play a huge role in providing screen time for our vulnerable babies, once they indoctrinate our children through cartoons and the rest they want our future generation to view the uncouth set up of man&man/woman&woman as normal.

"They want to fight our belief in GOD! Soon they will push for Religious studies to be kicked out of our SCHOOLS!" he wrote.

The Supreme Court of Kenya on Friday, February 24 ruled that the NGO Board's decision to bar homosexuals from forming recognised groups is discriminatory.

The court stated that despite homosexuality being illegal in Kenya, members of the LGBTQ still have a right of association.

The ruling gave members of the LGBTQ community the power to seek formal recognition by the Non-Governmental Organizations Co-ordination Board.
