Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo has claimed that Jubilee has a stronghold of voters in Lang’ata and Kiambu cemetery.

According to Midiwo, this is the reason Jubilee was insisting on a manual voter backup system in the 2017 General Election.

The legislator said that the graveyard constituents would cast their ballot which would be tallied with those for the living who are captured in the biometric voter data system.

“Uhuru holds the key to dead voters. He owns Lang’ata and Kiambu cemeteries. There will be no elections under the amended laws,” said Midiwo in Kakamega.

“They (Jubilee) can be in Parliament and Senate, but we (opposition) are a majority outside Parliament. There is nobody who will go to elections without proper reforms,” he said.
