Walking more than 104km in search of Form One fees has earned Joshua Otieno a four-year sponsorship from Mombasa Cement Limited. Otieno received Sh214,216 to cater for his fees at St Anthony High School in Kitale. “We promised to support Otieno aftre we read his plight in The Standard.
We’ve honoured our promise to cater for his fees and upkeep for four years. We expect him to work hard and get good grades,” said Akram Mohamed, the firm’s HR manager.
