Besieged Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro now claims that there are plans to hurt him and he is afraid that his life is in danger.

"I am only pleading with them. Please let no one think of harming me because I know there are those plans," said Ndindi Nyoro while appearing in court in Murang'a.

The lawmaker alleges that a police officer who happens to be his friend disclosed to him that he was supposed to be taken from Murang'a Police Station to Kamukunji Police Station in Nairobi.

"We know this and I can substantiate. Where I was supposed to be taken, there were two people found with capital offense. I was supposed to be taken there and it was not in good faith," claimed Nyoro.

Speaking to journalists at Murangá Law Courts on Tuesday 10, the Kiharu MP pleaded with Interior Permanent Secretary Karanja Kibicho not to involve police officers in politics.

"I want to tell our PS Kibicho, please let's not involve our police officers in politics. I listened to you yesterday very professional and I know they (Police) are people who respect the law so let's not misuse them," said Ndindi.

The embattled Member of Parliament yesterday claimed that he has been receiving threats for supporting William Ruto and the 'Tangatanga' movement.

Nyoro also said that there is no need for sending GSU officers to arrest him because he will surrender to the police whenever he is summoned.

"I am obedient and whenever they want me I want to request, don't even send those GSU officers, I will surrender," Said Ndindi.

The lawmaker also said that he is terrified and he could not speak further as he waited to be charged with assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest during a fracas at Gitui Catholic Church on Sunday which involved nominated MP Maina Kamanda.
