Meru's Kathigiri gets great score

All the 39 KCPE candidates at Fred's Academy in Meru County scored over 400 marks out of the possible 500 marks.

But more jubilant were parents and pupils of Kathigiri Boarding Primary School, a public school, whose top candidate Kirianki Lennox Kimathi scored 446.

Out of the school's 57 candidates, 40 scored over 400 marks. The last candidate had 371 marks.

The head teacher, Eustace Micheni Ragwa, was yesterday making phone calls to the candidates, summoning them for celebrations.

The top candidate at Fred's Academy Abdalla Shome scored 437 marks.
