Nakuru, Kenya: Last year’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary School (KCSE) top school, Moi High School Kabarak, has expressed confidence in maintaining the position in this year’s examinations set to begin Tuesday.

Speaking during KCSE rehearsals Monday at the school, Acting Principal David Sugut said they have put everything in place to ensure their 272 candidates write their final exam without any hitch.

“It is all systems go here. We have prepared our candidates and they are best set to begin their exams tomorrow. All the equipment and material required is already here with us,” assured Sugut.

Remain calm

Sugut urged the students to remain calm and stay composed.

“This exam is just like every other paper you have done. You will pass with flying colours,” said Sugut as he wished success to all candidates in the country.

According to Jane Otiato, the KCSE Kabarak supervisor, the school had prepared well and she was certain that the examination period will be smooth.

The school boasts of last year’s mean score of 11.265 – the highest in the country – with its candidates promising an even better performance this year.
