Education directors picked

The Government has appointed 47 county directors of education (CDEs) and deployed them to oversee management of education at the counties.

The ministry of Education gave out the names of 30 men and 17 women who will head the ministry’s functions at the counties.

The directors will discharge the functions on behalf of the minister for Education, but through the education secretary and the Education permanent secretary.
