Donald Trump pranked into retweeting a photo of notorious serial killers

By By Mirror | September 29th 2014

Donald Trump isn’t brilliant at Twitter. But today he seems to have made one of his worst stumbles yet.

User @feckhead - whose name may have well been a wee clue - tweeted to the tycoon “My parents who passed away always said you were big inspiration. Can you pls RT for their memory?”

Donald obliged.

But the picture attached was most certainly not a couple you would have hoped to inspired - it was notorious murderers Fred and Rose West.

Oh Donald. Won’t someone please take Twitter away from him?

The 68-year-old’s mistake was not realised for almost an hour before it was taken down.

Trumped was trolled by Philip Bradbury, who describes as “failed comedian” himself and “drinker”, while using the Twitter handle @feckhead.

Immediately following the prank his followers almost doubled 500 to just under 1,000.

At one point the gaffe started trending with one Twitter user writing: “You’ve been trumped, Donald.”

The Wests killed most of their victims between 1973 and 1979.

Fred, 53, committed suicide in January 1995 in his cell in Winson Green Prison, Birmingham while Rose, 60, is currently serving life.
