The Malaika disability walk.

On 3rd December 2016, The Standard Media Group supported Malaika Disability walk which took place at the KICC. The walk meant to create awareness on persons living with disability was hosted by Daddy Owen. The event culminated in an awards dinner where persons living with disabilities but doing extraordinary things in society were awarded. Among those awarded was Babelynn Mukila, a deaf model who is the current Miss Tourism, Mombasa County.

HELP EDUCATE DISABLED CHILDREN

A school for children with special needs in Kibera slums, Nairobi, seeking to raise Sh67 million to improve their welfare. Little Rock Integrated Early Childhood Development (ECD) Centre that also takes care of orphaned children and those infected and affected by HIV/Aids, organised a fundraiser in a bid to raise the money. Lilly Oyare, the institution's founder and director, said that the money raised would aid in constructing a primary school with 11 classrooms to expand the institution's scope in educating the children from poor backgrounds.
