Standard Group Managing Director for Broadcast services, Joe Munene, set the wheels in motion, flagging off the Radio Maisha team as it set off for a series of road shows across the country. This is the first road show since the radio station was relaunched in june. Joe Munene said that the aim of the road show is to meet the listeners and be together with them as the station slogan says “Tuko Pamoja”. Radio Maisha has broadened its reach across the country with new frequencies, the station can now be reached in Kitale, Kitui, Kericho and Eldoret Tom Japanni, the Head of Radio said.

The team which includes popular radio host Anthony Ndiema and Maisha Jioni radio presenter and comedian Mshamba arrived in Nakuru on tuesday and thereafter proceeded to Eldoret. Residents of eldoret and its environs received a rare treat of an entertainment show when the radio maisha caravan arrived in the region. The team reached out to residents of the North Rift region as the radio station extended its reach to the wider eldoret area.
Fans braved the chilly weather for an opportunity to meet face to face with their favorite radio maisha presenters who also offered prizes to those who interacted with the hosts. the caravan also made stopovers at Burnt forest, Eldoret town, Kisumu ndogo where they held a huge rally. radio presenters Anthony Ndiema, Alex Mwakideu, Emmanuel Mwashumbe and comedian Mshamba thrilled fans during the rally. The station, one of the products of standard group broadcasts in eldoret region at frequencies 90.5 fm and 91.1 fm.
