Heavy fighting ongoing in Kulbiyow to repulse al-Shabaab militants

The Kenya Defense Forces have deployed massively and surrounded the attackers who are still within the vicinity of the camp.

KDF has sent reinforcement which destroyed two enemy vehicles.

Al-Shabaab spokesperson Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musab, al Shabaab's claimed "Two mujahideen rammed suicide car bombs into the base in Kulbiyow town before storming it. After hand-to-hand fighting, we have taken over the base".  A claim that has been denied by KDF.
