Political activist Morara Kebaso now says his attack during Friday's public participation on the impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua at the Bomas of Kenya was well orchestrated.

Speaking during an interview on Spice FM on Monday, Kebaso stated that the goons hired by his opponents attacked him shortly after taking his seat.

"I tried to gain entry into the auditorium via three doors, but I was prevented. I came to the first door and found a high-ranking officer who said that I could only go in with one person and I think that is where my security was compromised," he stated.

Morara sustained injuries on the head, neck, and legs after being pelted with chairs by his attackers.

He has also linked the attack to his push to have both President William Ruto and his deputy impeached stating that he had announced it earlier on his social media handles before the public participation exercise.

"Even one of the event's MC, Ruaraka Member of Parliament TJ Kajwang' was not pleased when the crowd demanded that I be given the microphone to air my views. Shortly, that is when chaos erupted," Morara explained.

The activists claimed that most of those who attacked him have been identified adding that they work for Kajwang', George Aladwa MP Makadara, and his Dagoretti North counterpart Beatrice Elachi.

"It was evident that I was unwelcome to the ODM organised event and plans had been made much earlier that I'll be attacked. It's the public that demanded that I speak but it was not the wish of the MC TJ Kajwang'," Morara said.

He stated that he will continue pushing for good governance adding that he has enough support from a huge percentage of Kenyans.

"This week I am beginning a campaign for reconstitution of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) because we want to recall members of parliament because they no longer represent the voice of the people," added Kebaso.
