Kenya's Cheki.co.ke goes 'physical' at the Carnivore Grounds

Kenya's online cars platform, cheki.co.ke will Saturday host a car bazaar at Carnivore Grounds. The online company, which currently connects over 20,000 car buyers and sellers every month, will extend its value offering by organising a face to face meet up with an aim of connecting buyers and sellers and educating them about the motor industry.

Participants will have the opportunity to get professional counsel on buying, selling, financing and maintenance of vehicles from auto experts and other event sponsors. According to Cheki EA Regional General Manager, Wambura Kimunyu, the firm's forte is to create spaces where car buyers and sellers can meet and do business.

"We've done a great job of it online, making more than 15,000 cars available for sale to over 400,000 users every month. Now we'd like to give our customers a chance to experience Cheki offline," she said.

Dubbed Cheki Sato, the event targets over 1,000 vehicles that have been carefully selected and vetted through Cheki's curated price guide which determines the market rate for any car make and model within the Kenyan market. "This will ensure the best quality at market competitive prices," Ms Kimunyu added in a statement.
