  2. Petition Filed: First Tuesday, 7 days after the court declares the election valid

SCENARIO 1: Clear Winner (50+1)/ No Run-Off Required/ No petition

-August 9, 2022, Elections held

-Results declared within 7 days

-President-elect Sworn-in

SCENARIO 2: Clear winner (50+1)/Petition Filed/election upheld

-August 9 Elections Held

-Results declared within 7 days

-Petition Filed 7 days after the declaration

-Supreme Court to determine the petition within 14 days

-President-elect Sworn-in if election validated by Supreme Court

SCENARIO 3: Petition Filed / Election Nullified (Fresh Elections)

-August 9 Elections Held
