A memorial service is underway at Telcom Grounds near Ngong Road for the eight pupils who died in the Precious Talent School tragedy.

A requiem for the eight pupils killed in Monday’s Precious Talent School tragedy is underway at Telcom Grounds near Ngong Road.

The memorial service comes at a time when the owner of the school, Moses Wainaina, has been arraigned in a Kibra court. He was arrested on Thursday evening.

Pupils somberly walked along the lined tables on which stood pictures of their departed colleagues as they bid them farewell.

Grief was painted all over their faces with some breaking down uncontrollably as the reality of never seeing their friends again sunk in.

A pupil walked along in crutches nursing a bandaged broken leg in Monday’s tragedy.

The organisers of the mass said that they could not parade caskets due to the nature of the tragedy.

Two classrooms caved in and collapsed on students on Monday 23 as they undertook their morning preps.
