Gangsters raided Shauri Yako Primary in town on Tuesday night and stole 93 tablets, a projector, a desktop computer and a printer.

They broke into the staff room and offices of the head teacher and his deputy where the gadgets were kept.

The head teacher John Ogutu said the theft was discovered by a security guard after he reported on duty on Wednesday morning.

Mr Ogutu said the gangsters also stole important school documents, including Kenya Certificate of Primary Education certificates which had not been collected.
